Our levels of accounting and assurance services include compilations, reviews, and audits of financial statements. We can also provide employee benefit plan audits, due diligence services for sales and acquisitions of other businesses, and calculations of loan covenants with financial lenders. Upon completing each audit engagement, we provide your management team with a recommendations letter with detailed suggestions on how to strengthen internal controls regarding your specific internal accounting environment.

Agreed Upon Procedures Engagements

Agreed-upon procedures provide us with an opportunity to use our skills and training to help clients with engagements that differ from both audits and consulting engagements. In agreed-upon procedures engagements, clients engage us to issue a report of findings based on specific procedures performed on a subject matter. These engagements typically assist specified parties in evaluating a subject matter or an assertion as a result of a need or needs of the specified parties. When the specified parties require that findings be independently derived, our services are provided to perform procedures and report our findings. A carefully constructed agreed-upon procedures engagement enables you to use our expertise to gain comfort on certain types of transactions or processes.

BDO Alliance Member

As a member of the BDO Alliance, we are able to partner with BDO on audit engagements where clients want or require an audit letter from a nationally recognized firm. Capossela, Cohen, LLC does the work under BDO supervision which can provide substantial cost savings for our clients. Additionally, membership in the alliance allows us to take on non-local audit engagements, while outsourcing some aspects of the engagement, such as year-end inventory observations, to another alliance firm.
