Nathaniel Yordon was named a partner of the firm in 1991 after joining the team in 1984. With more than three decades of tax and accounting experience, Nathaniel is head of the firm’s tax department, specializing in corporate, partnership, and individual taxation. Nathaniel’s expertise lies in auditing, tax planning, strategies, and services for small to mid-size businesses and their owners. Uniquely, Nathaniel has worked with numerous family-owned businesses and profoundly understands the complex interrelationships of individual and business tax structures. Nathaniel’s extensive tax and audit experience includes nonprofit organizations and corporate pension plans.
Nathaniel is a member of the AICPA, the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants, and is active in several nonprofit affordable housing organizations, including the Open Doors and Connecticut Housing Partners.
Nathaniel received his bachelor’s degree in accounting as an honors scholar from the University of Connecticut in 1983 and earned his CPA license in 1984.
